Religiosity of different peoples is one of the challenging issues in sociology of religion; each of the theories in the field confronts serious challenges so that the extent of religiosity and its effective factors have become ambiguous. The main aim of this study is to present a clear elucidation of the extent of religiosity among different peoples. To do so, via the critical evaluation of the updated modernization theory, the theoretical model of cultural interactions is introduced. In the section of theoretical framework cultural globalization was selected as the independent variable and the grounding variables related to this concept, hypotheses and models were analyzed. To test these hypotheses social survey data were used for overall characterization of religiosity of people elucidated. The descriptive findings reveal that, in general, the extent of recognizance to behavioral and value aspects of religion are less than religious faith to God. Moreover, the findings reveal that cultural interaction theory is a relatively powerful pattern in determining the variance of religiosity among the peoples. In addition, this theory presents a different theoretical model from the role and position of human development variables, variety and abundance in religiosity and the theory of religious markets.
